COVID-19 READY
We have updated our policy for 2022.

The Art House Studio
Please note our studio has moved to RIGHT of the main house. Walk down the pathway and enter through the wooden gate (please close the gate behind you, (we have a friendly dog). A yellow bench is outside the studio.

We have a capacity for 10 students.
Art Club has a maximum of 6 children only to allow for more personal attention.
Hand Sanitiser & Cleaning
Before entering the studio, you will be required to use hand sanitiser provided before touching any art materials or studio equipment.
You will also be required to sanitise your hands before and after using the toilet.
Aprons:
We have aprons you can use, but also please dress for mess. An old large t-shirt works well as you can just pop it over your clothes or bring your own apron if you have one.
Masks:
It is not mandatory to wear a mask. You are welcome to wear one though.
Parking & Queueing
Please park in our driveway and not in front of other neighbours houses. We like to keep our neighbours happy, so please park sensibly. When arriving at the studio please drop your child off outside the studio. When waiting outside for your child, please keep your distance from other parents/ carers. Doors open 5mins before class starts, no earlier. Please be prompt when collecting your child.
Illness Symptoms
Please do not attend class or bring your child to classes if you or they have any suspicion or indication that they are unwell. If I feel that your child is ill or is showing symptoms as provided by the government guidelines I will not allow them entry to the class.
Refunds:
If you are showing symptoms of Covid and need to self isolate as a result. I would require one of the following:
-
Rapid Lateral Flow test:
- If completed at home, a photo of the student’s positive test result, or their bubble member’s positive test result if the student has not been double vaccinated.
- If completed at a centre, a forwarded text/email confirming a student’s positive test result, or their bubble member’s positive test result if the student has not been double vaccinated.
-
PCR test:
- An ‘isolation note’ referring to the student, or a bubble member if the student has not been double vaccinated.
-
NHS Test + Trace app:
- The student should forward a copy of the text they receive if the student has not been double vaccinated.

We also require 48 hours notice to issue you with a refund including one of the above. A 10% booking fee will be deducted from the class fee to cover the non-refundable 3rd party booking fees. As you can understand we have limited slots and if we receive prior notice we can make arrangements to fill those slots. We cannot issue refunds for gift vouchers or painting experiences. We can defer to a more suitable time within 6 months of issue.

If a member of staff is ill or needs to cancel the class, we will issue you with a full refund (no cancellation fee will be charged).
